CUSTOM SHOP
My guitars are not products.
A guitar of mine is the synthesis between the idea of a shape and that of a sound, a synthesis that often is unexpressed in the client's mind, and the luthier must understand how to transform it into a project first, and then into an instrument.
In order to fully respect the musician's desire for the uniqueness of his instrument and his sound, in my
shop I don't use computer controlled production methods: each step of the production is hand-made, each
component is chosen together with the customer and made or assembled in the shop.
Over the years I made a general picking among the infinite choices for the essences of the woods, the hardware and electrical components, , which however admits variations, exceptions and digressions according to the tonal needs, aesthetics taste and customer performance.

In my shop
in Monza I built an
acoustically neutral and soundproof test room, where the customer can test the instruments with utmost calm,
experimenting with the desired sounds without any external noise.
Not only guitar projects: in
my shop I take care for the
fine-tuning, customization and
repairs on any type of electric guitar, after careful listening of the customer's needs.
MY PASSION, MY STORY
My name is Alessia Marazzini, and I live and work in Monza, Italy.
My story is the story of a passion that became a job, and a job that is passion, study, research, and finally art.
Graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, I dealt with technology in the telecommunications sector, holding managerial roles before opening my first company in 1996, becoming a pioneer in digital communication when the web in Italy was still taking its first steps.
As if to balance the coldness of technology, I never abandoned my passion for music and guitars, buying, disassembling, modifying, designing and playing always different instruments, in a continuous experimentation that lasted decades.
The talks and the study with some of the best Italian luthier masters encouraged me to make the decision for a radical change in my personal and working life, until I decided in 2015 to transform my passion into my work, changing from an entrepreneur to an artisan, from manager to artist.
Seeing a piece of wood transforming under my hands and becoming shape and sound, perceiving the laws of acoustic physics that apply to ideas, and finally seeing the synthesis of months of study and work in an object that is together art and vehicle of art for the musician who will play it.
All of this is much more than a professional satisfaction; it is a unique life experience that is renewed every day, which grows with each instrument designed and built
